Two new species of Russula subgenus Heterophyllidia (Russulaceae, Russulales) from Yanshan Mountains, North China

Two new species, Russula pseudopunicea C.L.Hou, G.Q.Cheng & H.Zhou sp. nov. and R. wulingshanensis nov., from Yanshan mountains in North China are described herein based on morphological phylogenetic analyses of nrITS, nrLSU-rpb2-mtSSU gene regions. Morphologically, is characterised by a reddish brown, light brown to brownish orange pileus with greyish yellow margin, subglobose broadly ellipsoid basidiospores warts forming partial reticulum pleurocystidia turning grey purplish red sulfovanillin. purple pinkish grey-white grey-purple isolated warts, pileocystidia black Phylogenetic resolved the two species subg. Heterophyllidia. were placed lineages subsect. Virescentinae Griseinae, respectively.
